With his immense experience of tournament play combined with an unparalleled understanding of design and construction, James Braid set standards for golf courses that the rest of the world enthusiastically followed. Think Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie by all means, but don’t forget Brora and Golspie!

Brora Golf Club has a stunning links course with breathtaking views at every turn. You will never ever tire of teeing off here. With 18 beautifully designed holes, Brora is one of James Braid’s finest courses. Visitors warmly welcomed. Golspie Golf Club is just down the road from Brora. Also designed by James Braid this course offers incredible views all year round, regardless of the season, be it the North Sea or back towards the rolling hills.
The Royal Dornoch Golf Course is one of the most prestigious natural links courses in Scotland and features on the bucket list of golfers all over the world. Along with the Royal Dornoch course, there is also an opportunity to play at Struie, another challenging but beautiful course well worth a visit.
